We are SIS, Skincare Ingredient Scouts. We aim to solve a common problem of skincare: many people don’t know which skincare ingredients clash or what risks there might be when using multiple products together. Our goal is to help everyone easily understand ingredients, spot conflicts, and choose skincare products in a safer and smarter way. We turn the tricky stuff about how ingredients work with each other into simple guides that anyone can follow. Whether you’re new to skincare or already a skincare fan, we give you useful tips to build a skincare routine that’s perfect for your skin, safe and effective.

I'm Summer from the international department in Nanjing Foreign Language School. I noticed that many people mix different skincare products without noticing some of them may conflict, causing irreversible consequences, like red skin, sensitive skin, or even allergy- just like what happens to my mom. These issue encourage me to join the "skincare ingredient scout" project and use my own way to help them. Maybe doing some research and uncover the science behind the ingredient conflicts can help. I hope my work can help others make smarter choices for their skin.

Hi, I am Angelina Yu from WHHest Hill High ichooln Sandiego. I became interested in t study e conflicts of skincare produce and makeup ingredient because I am alosso a teenager and I experienced skin problem on my own body, so I started searching for skincare product online. I used the highly popular products available on the internet, but the situation didn't improve. So I'm quite confused as to what kind of product would actually improve the condition of my skin. I believe there are many teenagers who are just as confused as I am. If my team and I were able to design a website that could assist teenagers in selecting skincare products, it will help them a lot.
