Nowadays, many people, especially teenagers, use skincare products frequently. They use them every day in order to improve the appearance of their face and protect their skin. However, the lack of knowledge about the hazards of mixing skincare products can cause the opposite effect. Plus, almost all of them have no awareness about the hazards of mixing skincare products, which might cause damage to your face such as redness and a burning sensation. We created this website to remind people, especially teenagers, about whether they can use skincare products together and the hazards, in order to help them find skincare products that fit them well and cause no dangers.
Our model represents cosmetic ingredients as nodes in a graph and their potential interactions as connections. Using a Graph Neural Network (GNN), it learns from known chemical, dermatological, and safety data to capture how ingredients influence each other. The model then predicts whether combinations of ingredients across multiple products may cause conflicts, reduced effectiveness, or safety risks.
To use our product, you only need to enter the ingredients from two or more skincare products, then click the "Analyze" button. Our system will use algorithms for analysis and provide a three-level risk assessment within seconds: A green light indicates no significant conflict detected, a yellow light suggests potential risk, which means you need to think twice before using, and a red light signals high-risk interactions, with an explanation of the predicted chemical conflict mechanisms.
